ACTIVITIES 2020
1. SPEECH COMPETITION
(A) An online Inter-school Speech Competition was organised for class IX and X on 08.12.20. by the co - ordinators of DAV, ABM, HERMANN GMEINER and GURU TEG BAHADUR Schools.
The topic of the speech was "Lockdown - Change in Environment and Life".
The judges of the competition were -
Mrs.Poornima Thapa (PGT English, Saraswati Academy school) and Mr. Aman Kandpal (PGT English,DPS Lamachaur).
The competition started sharp at 10:00 a.m. Around 8 participants from the member schools participated in the event. Each participant put forth his/her views on the given topic.The event continued for an hour and ended at 11:00 a.m.
At the end of the event the winners were announced. The judges congratulated the winners and motivated them to keep participating in such type of activities in future too as the idea behind keeping such activities is to make a child confident and fluent.

2. HINDI SPEECH / DIALOGUE DELIVERY CONTEST
Students enthusiastically participated in the Hindi speech and dialogue delivery contest organised on the occasion of Independence Day.

4. ONE ACT PLAY (INDEPENDENCE DAY)
5. SLOGAN CHANTING
Slogan is a short and striking or memorable phrase used in advertising.
Keeping this in mind the champs of class UKG chanted various slogans on *Covid-19* to create awareness and to help us understand the fatality of this malady.
6.
STORY CONTEST
“A good story can imbibe the right values in the most impressionable age.”
The Best Story Narrator Contest was organized for grade-2 on 26-May-2020. The students performed spectacularly narrating their favourite stories using creative props, voice modulation and impressive expressions.
7. POETRY RECITAL
Recitation is one of the important and effective modes of learning a language and appreciating a piece of writing.
To kindle poetic flair among the young Davians, an e-poetry contest was organized on 25th May 2020 for the rising poets of grade 1.
