The ICT Department has initiated Techno world Club to give wings to the educational world to fly faster and farther. The aim of the club is not to simply deliver book content but make learning realistic by practical approach. The ultimate goal is make students aware of ICT, multidisciplinary approach of ICT and let them explore the world by hands on applications. The new method of Activity based learning has enabled students to discover things, showcase their talent and work in team. Different activities involved in building confidence of student in what they learn are-
Show and Speak, Extempore, Collage Making, Lab Activities, quiz , presentations, Virtual Lab, developing programming skills,seminars etc.

1.SHOW SPEAK AND LEAD COMPETITION
Public speaking and good communication skills are integral part of a holistic personality. Recognising this need, an online
Show, Speak & Lead competition was conducted for
class-6 on 13-05-2020 . The competition was based on well known apps that have made life easier in lockdown period .It was indeed a great joy to see students speak. Each one wanted to exhibit their best eloquence. The competition brought out skills including quick thinking and oratory. Over all it was an extremely enjoyable learning experience for the students.

2. SHOW AND SPEAK
A virtual online *Show and Speak Activity* was conducted for class III to VII on 20.5.2020 . Students were alloted topic based on their school curriculum. Students described / explained the topics based on Computers using pla-cards. The activity aimed at reinforcing effective speaking habits such as looking at audience, speaking fluently etc.
It is expected that such activities will build communication skill in children which will serve as a solid foundation for future learning.

Students of Class VII made an online presentation of their projects using Scratch software exhibiting their creativity, scientific temperament and coding skills.
Topics chosen by the students were Formation of Solar System, Solar System, Rotation/Revolution, Photosynthesis, Digestive System, Human Heart, Digestion in Amoeba, Deforestation.
The sincere endeavours of all the students were appreciable.

4. TUX PAINT STORY/POSTER MAKING/PRESENTATION COMPETITIONS CLASS III TO VII
Technology has become an important part of our daily life.It's time to embrace technology in our teaching learning process to make learning more engaging because when students are engaged they are interested, that's where learning takes place.To foster this active learning, various ICT Activities were organised for the students of Class IV, V VI and VII where they used TUX Paint, Open Office Writer, Open Office Impress, Scratch software. Students prepared stories, presentations and posters on alloted themes.

RAMPWALK CUM JUST A MINUTE CLASS III and IV and FANCY DRESS COMPETITION CLASS V
A Rampwalk cum Just a Minute Activity was conducted for Class III and IV. The theme for the Program was Digital Devices. Students came forward with excellent models and showcased their talent and confidence on stage. The way they entered the stage, their dialogue delivery and presentation was definitely praiseworthy.
ROBOTICS CLASSES
In today's technology driven world it has become essential to prepare students for the future. Keeping this in mind the techno club has introduced Robotics in Primary classes. Robotics has enabled students to be creative, innovative and constructive thinkers. Our little engineers work in teams and come out with wonderful designs.

TUX PAINT DRAWING COMPETITION CLASS III
Imagination is the beginning of creation" With this motto Tux Paint Drawing Competition was organised for Class III on 9.8.19. The theme for the competition was "Nature Composition." The little ones came forward enthusiastically and displayed their artistic skill on screen.
TUX PAINT STORY WRITING COMPETITION CLASS IV
"After nourishment, shelter and companionship stories are the things we need most in the world."Stories gives wings to our imagination and takes us to land of fantasy.To incite curiosity and passion for reading Tux Paint Story Writing Competition was conducted for Class IV on 14.8.19. Children wrote beautiful stories with ethical values along with it displaying their skill in drawing the characters and surroundings of the story. The slides made by them were definitely captivating.
