DAV SPORTS CLUSTER MEET (2024-25)
14th August 2024 :
Sports is the celebration of the human spirit and youth, it not only inspires young minds but also teaches good values and ethics to young students.
DAV HALDWANI, under the guidance of DAV Managing Committee, New Delhi, organised its Sports Cluster Meet on 14th August 2024.
The Chief Guest of the day was Mrs. Meenakshi Joshi, Principal, Darpan Children Garden, Haldwani. The other dignitaries presented in the event were Principal DAV Kashipur and Principal DAV Rudrapur.
The participant teams were :
DAV Bazpur, DAV Kashipur, DAV Rudrapur and DAV Haldwani.
Principal, Mr Amit Joshi, greeted the chief guest with a floral welcome.
The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest, which was followed by the Welcome Song and DAV Anthem.
Hon'ble Principal, addressed the participants with his motivating and inspiring words and declared the meet open.
The participants of different schools competed against each other in different events like football, kho kho, kabaddi, volleyball etc.
The winning schools were :
(1) Football - DAV Haldwani
(2) kho kho - DAV Haldwani
(3) kabaddi - DAV Bazpur
(4) Volleyball- DAV Kashipur
The event successfully came to an end with the prize distribution ceremony.
