TRICOLOUR HOISTED WITH PRIDE
The campus of DAV School was bathed in tricolour hues and patriotic fervour as students and faculty gathered to celebrate the 80th Independence Day. The event commenced with the ceremonial hoisting of the national flag by the Principal, Mr. Amit Joshi, followed by a resonant instrumental rendition of the National Anthem that evoked deep reverence among the gathering.
The ceremony gained momentum with a crisp, disciplined March Past led by Head Girl. Stirring orations set the tone for the morning: Head Girl Sonia delivered an insightful English address on the responsibilities of contemporary youth, while Head Boy Pranav articulated India’s cultural heritage in a stirring Hindi speech. A soulful Hindi poem recited by Shraddha Jeena further elevated the patriotic mood.
Adding vibrancy and warmth to the proceedings, the pre-primary section captivated the audience with a suite of energetic folk and patriotic dance performances.
The highlight of the festivities was the Inter-House Dance Competition, where children showcased remarkable choreography, synchrony, and thematic brilliance.
The event culminated in an inspiring address by Principal Amit Joshi, who urged the students to embody integrity, civic responsibility, and academic diligence as their personal tribute to the nation's freedom fighters. The day concluded on a high note, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of purpose and pride.
