World Meditation Day Celebration at DAV School
DAV School commemorated World Meditation Day with a captivating session led by Rakhi Pandey, an instructor from the Art of Living Foundation. Students from Classes 7, 8, and 9, along with staff members, participated in guided meditation and learned effective stress management techniques. This fostered a deeper sense of mindfulness and inner peace among the participants.
The event also highlighted a momentous occasion: Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's invitation to UN, 131 years after Swami Vivekananda's iconic address at the Parliament of Religions in 1893.
The celebration inspired the DAV School community to incorporate meditation into their daily lives, promoting mental well-being and pride in India's rich spiritual heritage.
