Curiosity Quest: A Scientific Adventure
On the fourth day of Science Week at DAV Centenary Public School, Haldwani, the Science Faculty (Ms Jyoti Pandey, Ms Geeta Joshi & Ms Harshita Pandey) alongwith ICT faculty Ms. Vineeta Mungali, organized a captivating quiz competition named Curiosity Quest. This intellectual battle was designed to test the scientific knowledge and problem-solving skills of the participants.
The teams participating in the quiz were Leo, Gemini, Orion, and Cyrus.
The quiz was divided into four rounds, each with a unique theme:
General Science:
This round tested the participants basic understanding of various scientific concepts.
Riddle Solver
Here, the teams had to crack riddles related to scientific phenomena and discoveries.
Buzzer Round:
In this round, students had to identify the names of renowned scientists and their significant contributions to science.
Rapid Fire: This final round was a fast-paced challenge where teams had to answer a series of questions quickly and accurately.
The teams participated with great enthusiasm and competitive spirit. They demonstrated their knowledge and problem-solving abilities throughout the competition.
After a thrilling series of rounds, Leo Team emerged as the winner of the "Curiosity Quest" quiz Their exceptional performance and deep understanding of scientific principles set them apart from the other teams.
The quiz competition was a resounding success, not only in terms of intellectual stimulation but also in fostering a love for science among the students. It provided a platform for them to explore their curiosity and apply their knowledge in a fun and engaging way.
