DAV Centenary Public School, Haldwani: Science Week Celebration
The third day of the Science Week Celebration at DAV Centenary Public School, Haldwani, was a vibrant affair, featuring a series of captivating Nukkad Nataks performed by the students of class VII and VIII
Class VIII A came up with their performance titled "Say No to Drugs." Their impactful message resonated with the audience, highlighting the detrimental effects of drugs.
Class 8 B focused on environmental conservation, presenting a Nukkad Natak on "Global Warming." Their performance shed light on the pressing issue of climate change and urged viewers to take action to reduce their carbon footprint.
Class 7A tackled the problem of plastic pollution with their performance "Say No to Plastic. The students emphasized the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling plastic to protect our environment and say no to single use plastic.
The final performance of the day. "Say No to Food Wastage," delivered by Class 7B , highlighted the issue of food wastage.
The students were evaluated on the basis of clarity of message, coordination, character portrayal, and overall engagement by the Judges Ms. Anju Parihar and Ms. Vineeta Mungali. The program was expertly coordinated by Science teachers Ms. Harshita Pandey, Ms. Geeta Joshi and Ms. Jyoti Pandey.
The students performances were exceptional, demonstrating their creativity, talent, and commitment to raising awareness about important social and environmental issues.
