Bio Career Fair

On August 20, 2024, DAV Centenary Public School, Haldwani, successfully hosted its Bio Career Fair. We had the honor of welcoming Dr. Disha Mehta, a leading expert in the field of Biotechnology, who provided valuable insights into career opportunities in this field.
Dr. Mehta, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at MBPG College, Haldwani, shared her expertise on various aspects of Biotechnology, including protein engineering and gene editing. She addressed students' questions and provided guidance on the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this field.
Our school teachers also played a crucial role in the event. Ms. Maniksha Pant, Ms. Shobha Mehta, and Mr. Jitendra Joshi conducted workshops covering diverse fields such as Biology, Biochemistry, and Biophysics. These sessions offered students detailed information about career opportunities and the significance of these fields.
At the end of the program, our Principal delivered an inspiring closing speech, motivating students and providing them with new perspectives for their future careers. His encouraging words energized the students and fostered a positive outlook towards their career paths.
