CLEANLINESS DRIVE FOR SWACHH BHARAT

A cleanliness drive was organized in DAV Centenary Public School, Haldwani under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan on 1st October at 10 AM for the classes VII - X. The aim of this cleaning drive was to create awareness among the people regarding the cleanliness and its benefits.

The Cleanliness drive started with the interactive session of Headmaster Mr. Satyendra Shukla with the students and the teachers. With great zest and enthusiasm the students and staff steered the cleanliness drive. It began with the cleaning of classrooms, school premises and the adjacent areas of the school removing litter and waste materials. Banners related to Swachh Bharat were put up in the school. Students actively participated in the event and took a pledge to inculcate the habit of keeping their home, locality and city clean.
