Annual Sports Meet - 2018​

A three day Annual Sports Meet was held in DAV Centenary Public School, Haldwani w.e.f. 29 December 2018, with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere. The programme began with lightning of lamp by the Chief Guest Dr. Jogendra Pal Singh Rautela(Mayor Haldwani-Kathgodam) accompanied by the Principal Mr. Amit Joshi. The cultural events began with the welcoming of esteemed gathering followed by the impressive March Past of different Houses- Almora, Nainital, Pithoragarh and Ranikhet. After the marchpast students of all the classes Nursery to XII displayed an energising and wonderful display-Hoops, Saree, Pyramid, Pom-pom, Umbrella, Fumbles, Lazium and Cricket Drill. The audience along with the Chief Guest was mesmerised with their energetic performances. On 30.12.18 and 31.12.18 students of all the classes Nursery to XII  competed in events- 50m,  100m, 200 m, 1500 m,  Relay, Fish race, Hurdle Race,  Skipping Race and  Three Legged Race. The Meet was declared closed by the Principal with the announcement of Ranikhet House as the overall Champion,  Second Position was secured by Pithoragarh House and Third Position by Nainital House.
